Let’s spend an afternoon drawing together! We will practice working with colour, textures, compositions, and more!  We will draw different subjects like still lifes and people (or animals) before going into a finished illustration. You will go home with an (almost) finished piece with a topic of your choice - for example an illustrated recipe, a post card, a book cover, whatever you fancy!

I will demonstrate how I use my favorite materials and give you exercises to get to know them better. I will help you find your own way of working, your personal colour palette and develop your style (further).

We will work with gouache, colored pencils/crayons and markers. Of course you are free to also bring your own favourite materials.

This workshop is ideal for people with a bit of experience with drawing - but it’s also suitable for beginners. Everything will be arranged and set up - but If you want to prepare something I will give suggestions in advance of the workshop date.

The workshop will be at my childhood home. There is a beautiful garden and a park surrounding it. We will have a home made vegetarian lunch at the Orangery, which is a minute walk.

• Saturday 24th of May from 11am - 4 om (with a 1 hour lunch break. Lunch is included)

• €200 incl. VAT - including coffee, tea, snacks, lunch, and the use of materials + a new A5 Royal Talens sketchbook to work in and take home
