Let’s spend a Saturday drawing together! We will practice working with colour, textures, compositions, and more! We will draw different subjects like still lifes and people (or animals) before going into a finished illustration. You will go home with an (almost) finished piece with a topic of your choice - for example an illustrated recipe, a Christmas card, a book cover, whatever you fancy!
I will demonstrate how I use my favorite materials and give you exercises to get to know them better. I will help you find your own way of working, your personal colour palette and develop your style (further).
We will work with gouache, colored pencils/crayons and markers. Of course you are free to also bring your own favourite materials.
This workshop is ideal for people with a bit of experience with drawing - but it’s also suitable for beginners. Everything will be arranged and set up - but If you want to prepare something I will give suggestions in advance of the workshop date.
